TYPE LOUD CO is an experimental studio exploring new language, visuals, and methods of distribution. We’re not intimidated by online restrictions- we design work that cuts through the noise and leaves something behind.
We produce short-form content, campaign activations, animated work, music videos, and branded audio, including custom jingles and slogans. Everything is built in-house by artists who understand both culture and craft, from concept to execution.
We collaborate with brands that want more than a template. Whether you’re launching a product, telling a story, or sparking conversation, we bring the creative direction and execution that makes people pay attention.

Our Story
TYPE LOUD started from a passion for cultivation, creativity, and a need for fresh, authentic voices in cannabis advertising.
We’re built by people who live the culture and want to bring that energy into everything we create. We don't do marketing. We create. Crafting stories, visuals, and ideas that capture the spirit of the plant.
While cannabis inspired our beginning, we’re open to working with any brand that shares our bold, culture-first mindset.

FOUNDER / CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Zakaria Khafagy is a multidisciplinary artist from Queens, New York, with roots in film, theatre, music, graphic design, animation, painting, and illustration. As a former cannabis workforce advocate and bud-tender, Zakaria witnessed firsthand the creative disconnect between cannabis brands and the communities they serve.
Previously working with the renowned Ping Chong and Company to create original animations ,theatre, and film, his storytelling and visual art practice is multidimensional. Out of that creative momentum, Type Loud Co was born as a culture driven creative studio offering clever, art forward solutions for an industry still navigating the shadows of digital prohibition. Zakaria saw the need for marketing that felt raw, honest, and imaginative. Work that actually speaks to people who use cannabis leading with one question. "Who’s more creative than people who smoke weed?"
From crafting DIY pipes out of apples to finding safe corners to spark up, cannabis culture has always thrived on creativity and workaround. That same spirit fuels everything Zakaria creates, not just for cannabis clients, but for any brand that dares to think loudly and express with intention.
